Set in Toronto — Yorkville, specifically — where Autumn, a woman whose psyche has come apart at its seams, begins therapy to hold the pieces together. The entities do not wait for an invitation. They arrive one at a time, each pulling a different thread, until the work moves out of the office and onto the river itself. The final passage — an act of imagination made physical — ends where the wider mythology would later begin: a coffin ten years down the line, and three words laid out like a verdict. “Follow. Your. Shadow.” That scene, the Bridge of Decision, stands in the canon now as the first recorded lesson — the vein theory on screen before the vein theory had a name.

Twenty-seven chapters, published 2023. On the record, long before the rest of this: the guide and the time travel were never new ideas here.
